ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are hiring a Senior Video Editor & Content Producer to own the full video lifecycle — from post-production editing of filmed content to AI-assisted video creation. This is a hands‑on, senior creative role. The majority of your time will be spent editing professionally filmed interviews, testimonials, thought leadership segments, event recaps, and promotional pieces. You will also produce AI-generated short‑form videos at scale to support content marketing across all three service lines.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Post-Production & Video Editing (Primary Focus — ~60% of Role)
Edit filmed video content end-to-end: interviews, testimonials, event recaps, thought leadership pieces, and promotional videos across all three service lines
Perform advanced post-production work including color correction, audio mixing, sound design, multi‑cam editing, and compositing
Create motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, animated transitions, and branded intros/outros using Adobe After Effects
Edit and produce longer‑form content (2–10 minutes) for YouTube, the NJA website, webinars, and investor presentations
Adapt long‑form edits into short‑form cuts (30–60 seconds) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Maintain brand consistency across all video assets — colors, typography, tone, and visual language
Build and manage a video content library organized by service line, topic, and format
AI Video Production (~30% of Role)
Produce 60+ AI‑generated short‑form videos per month using HeyGen, Synthesia, or similar platforms
Develop scripts from service line messaging frameworks and content strategies for Tax Controversy, Wealth Management, and B2B Advisory
Combine AI‑generated footage with traditional editing techniques to create polished, brand‑aligned output
Stay current with emerging AI video tools, evaluate new platforms, and recommend workflow improvements
Collaborate with the content team to scale educational and promotional video output efficiently
Strategy & Performance (~10% of Role)
Track video performance metrics: views, engagement rate, watch time, click‑through, and lead attribution
Collaborate with Social Media & PR on distribution strategy, scheduling, and platform optimization
A/B test thumbnails, hooks, and video formats to continuously improve performance
Contribute to the video content calendar and creative briefs for upcoming campaigns
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of professional video editing and post‑production experience
Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (must be proficient in both)
Strong motion graphics and graphic design skills — ability to create polished lower thirds, title cards, animations, and branded visual elements
Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and sound design in a professional workflow
Proficiency with at least one additional editing tool: DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar
1+ year of hands‑on experience using AI tools for video production (HeyGen, Synthesia, D‑ID, Runway, or similar)
Strong scriptwriting ability — able to distill complex financial and legal topics into engaging 30–60 second scripts
Deep understanding of short‑form video best practices: hooks, pacing, captions, CTAs, and platform‑specific optimization
Ability to produce high‑volume content while maintaining quality standards
An AI‑collaborative mindset — eager to integrate AI tools into creative workflows to increase speed and output without sacrificing quality
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing post‑production work, motion graphics, and short‑form social content
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience creating video content for financial services, professional services, or regulated industries
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma for supporting graphic design work
Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar 3D tools for enhanced motion graphics
Knowledge of YouTube SEO, video optimization, and thumbnail strategy
Experience managing or directing on‑set video shoots (lighting, camera, audio)
Familiarity with HubSpot or CRM‑integrated content workflows
Experience with video analytics platforms and performance‑driven content iteration
