Senior mechanical designer supporting the design, layout, and routing of mechanical systems for complex industrial facilities.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience
  • 4+ years of Revit design experience
  • 5+ years of industrial building mechanical design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. Mechanical Codes
  • Strong working knowledge of the International Mechanical Code (IMC)
  • Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, data centers, or other advanced manufacturing facilities
  • Technical or Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline

Preferred Skills

  • Industrial mechanical system layout and routing
  • P&ID development
  • Construction plan, section, and detail production
  • Mechanical design support across planning, concept, and detailed design phases
  • Revit modeling
  • AutoCAD drafting
  • Mechanical code application in industrial building environments
  • Coordination with contractors and internal engineering disciplines

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead design, layout, and routing of industrial building mechanical systems
  • Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details
  • Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design
  • Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines
  • Apply advanced knowledge of building mechanical systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Support mechanical design execution for semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, and advanced manufacturing environments
