This role absolutely requires private equity or broader alternative investment management compliance experience. The firm is a private equity firm focused on GP-led secondaries investments in North American middle market companies. The firm was founded in 2016 and today has over 20 employees and $2.4 billion in AUM (per 12/31/2024). Opportunity: The Associate / Vice President Compliance will be responsible for administering processes and procedures to ensure the firm adheres to operational excellence and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities : Maintain agendas, minutes, approvals, action items and backup documentation for committees including the Investment Committee, Operating Committee, Portfolio & Risk Committee, HR Committee and Compliance Committee Manage compliance program Manage governance and regulatory compliance of offshore entities (Cayman and Luxembourg), including providing regular pipeline reports, coordinating approvals, investment minutes, deal documentation, allocations and cash planning Manage regulatory submissions (e.g. Cayman, UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada) Manage certain consulting relationships who assist processes, including compliance, cyber, and legal Coordinate systems audits and vendor audits Identify and implement process improvement initiatives xywuqvp including the roll out of new policies, procedures, and guidelines Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic achievement required Four+ years of relevant experience in a similar role in the alternative investments industry Strong attention to detail and organizational skills – consistently trustworthy Strong communication and project management skills Entrepreneurial personality is a plus
