
Real Estate Paralegal

A well-established, highly respected law firm is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support its Transactions practice group. This role plays a critical part in managing commercial real estate deals from initial intake through closing and post-closing, working closely with attorneys and clients throughout the entire transaction lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Support attorneys in handling commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
Review and analyze:
Title commitments and title reports
Surveys and legal descriptions
Draft and prepare:
Title objections and commitments
Closing documents (deeds, affidavits, closing statements, financing documents, etc.)
Coordinate and manage real estate closings, including:
Scheduling and logistics
Reviewing lender closing packages
Preparing closing binders
Handle funding and disbursements, including trust account coordination
File and record legal documents (deeds, UCCs, mortgages, etc.)
Communicate with clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and other stakeholders
Track transactions for 1099 reporting
Assist with post-closing matters, title updates, and policy issuance
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting real estate transactions in a legal, title, or lending environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals at once
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of real estate experience in a law firm, title company, or lender
Experience with title/settlement software (SoftPro preferred)
Familiarity with e-recording platforms and UCC filings
Paralegal certificate, college degree, or notary designation a plus
