Requirements of the
Senior Tax Manager Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required Masters of Taxation preferred 7+ total years of relevant public or corporate tax experience CPA preferred Knowledge of Tax Accounting principles including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, rate reconciliations and ASC 740 Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP is strongly preferred. Senior Tax Manager Federal and State direct tax compliance Tax Provision / IFRS reporting Tax Audits Tax Planning/Transfer pricing Special Projects Supervise and research sales and use tax issues Lead the preparation and first-line review of quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provision (current/deferred), ETR analysis, and return-to-provision true-ups. Support the valuation allowance analysis and prepare documentation for review Review complex workpapers (book‑tax differences, consolidation computations, tax attributes) prepared by team members. Coordinate GAAP reporting packages and disclosures for consolidation with the parent company. Support analysis of new U.S. tax legislation and prepare draft documentation for review by the Head of Tax on provision, compliance, and cash taxes; draft technical memos. Review draft federal and state returns prepared by the service provider; monitor estimated payments, extensions, and notices. Maintain internal control narratives, control matrices, and evidence binders for provision and compliance processes.
