We are seeking a Digital Experience Designer who can deliver user-centered digital products in enterprise, government, or regulated environments. This role blends UX design, UI design, service design, and HCD facilitation to support large-scale modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate can translate complex workflows and technical architectures into intuitive user experiences, collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams, and drive consistency through enterprise design systems. This individual will also support executive communications, visual storytelling, and the development of scalable brand and interface standards across secure platforms. What you will do Lead the end-to-end design of digital experiences, including research synthesis, journey mapping, wireframes, interaction models, and high-fidelity UI. Facilitate user interviews, co-creation sessions, and usability testing with enterprise and government stakeholders. Create and maintain design system components, patterns, and usage guidelines aligned to enterprise standards. Develop executive-level visual communications, including conceptual models, modernization roadmaps, process diagrams, and system interaction flows. Translate architectural, data, and workflow complexity into clear and intuitive visual representations. Produce responsive UI designs optimized for web, mobile, and secure government environments. Partner with product owners, engineers, and Agile delivery teams to validate and iterate on design solutions within program increments. Contribute to user research planning, heuristic evaluations, and HCD documentation required for government modernization initiatives. What we like to see Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end digital product design, design system contributions, and enterprise-grade workflow or interface design. Experience working in Agile, Scaled Agile, or hybrid enterprise environments. Ability to distill ambiguous problem spaces into structured frameworks, concepts, and experience strategies. Strong visual communication capabilities, including executive-ready presentations, system diagrams, and conceptual storytelling. Ability to operate across discovery, definition, and delivery phases, including user research, iterative prototyping, and usability testing. Experience collaborating with technical teams, including architects, solution engineers, and developers. You should be familiar with Figma for component design, prototyping, and collaborative design system work. Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for visual, branding, and executive communication assets. HCD and UX research techniques such as contextual inquiry, journey mapping, task analysis, persona development, and moderated usability studies. Enterprise and government design patterns, responsive frameworks, and model-based UI standards. Modern digital product delivery practices, including Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and design-to-developer handoff workflows. Requirements 5+ years of experience in UX, UI, product design, service design, or digital experience design. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Centered Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or a related field. Demonstrated experience designing for enterprise, government, or regulated environments. Proficiency with top HCD and enterprise design tools including Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Miro or equivalent collaboration tools, Adobe After Effects or equivalent motion/interaction tools, and user research platforms such as Lookback or UserTesting. This position is eligible for remote work in the St. Louis area.
