Production Coordinator

Location: Willoughby, OH Pay: $30–$32 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth production scheduling, accurate inventory management, and effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including establishing and monitoring reorder points Enter, track, and receive purchase orders within the ERP system Coordinate scheduling, receiving, and closing of inventory-related documentation Maintain and organize material certifications and related records Issue and manage purchase orders for production supplies Perform data entry to support and monitor production activity Maintain and update daily backorder reports Assist with administrative aspects of shipping and logistics as needed Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to ensure customer requirements are met Communicate regularly with management regarding workload, inventory levels, production output, and order status Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and production processes Support cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between departments Qualifications & Skills Manufacturing experience required (production scheduling and inventory management preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel required) Ability to learn and operate ERP systems Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improving processes Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($30–$32 based on experience) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Annual boot reimbursement Quarterly bonus opportunities Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
