Role: Senior Product Manager Location: Austin, TX / Seattle, WA / Chicago, IL Duration: 9 Months

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to act as an execution engine and bandwidth multiplier for the BEX Whole Trip + Families workstream. This role focuses on driving cross-functional delivery across web and app experiences to deliver measurable, near-term impact on key trip-level metrics.

Experience & Complexity 8+ years of product management experience Proven experience managing multi-team, cross-platform (web + app) initiatives Strong background in UX delivery, experimentation, and analytics-driven product development

Core Responsibilities 1. Cross-Functional Execution Lead end-to-end execution across Engineering, Design (XD), and Analytics teams Manage dependencies, risks, and timelines across multiple squads Maintain strong Jira hygiene, tracking progress and ensuring delivery without constant escalation Run structured delivery rituals and keep teams aligned and unblocked

2. Product Strategy & Backlog Management Translate business goals into a prioritized, outcome-driven backlog Decompose complex initiatives (e.g., “Fruit Ninja” backlog) into: Clear product requirements UX states and flows Acceptance criteria across web and app Incorporate traveler insights, research, and analytics into roadmap decisions

3. Experimentation & Analytics Define success metrics aligned to Whole Trip outcomes (e.g., trip starts, attach rate, multi-item bookings) Design and execute experiments (A/B testing) with clear guardrails Partner with Analytics to instrument, monitor, and interpret performance Iterate quickly based on experiment results to meet quarterly goals

4. UX-Focused Product Development Collaborate closely with Design to ensure high-quality user experiences Critically evaluate and simplify user flows (e.g., booking flows, multi-room selection, family features) Ensure clarity in UX content (fees, policies, comparisons like homes vs hotels, etc.) Translate design concepts into detailed engineering-ready requirements

5. Stakeholder Management & Communication Act as the central point of coordination across teams Provide concise updates and executive-level readouts (“what moved, what’s next”) Communicate trade-offs and recommendations effectively within time constraints

6. Execution with Bias for Action Operate effectively in a time-boxed environment (Q2 focus) Balance speed vs. long-term experience quality Identify quick wins vs. strategic investments Escalate appropriately when needed while maintaining momentum

Key Skills & Qualifications Strong experience delivering consumer-facing digital products (web + mobile) Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, sprint planning, backlog management) Solid understanding of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and product analytics Proven ability to manage complex dependencies and cross-team initiatives Strong UX/product sense with attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
