Overview
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Transactional Associate to join its Nashville office. This position focuses on complex real estate transactions, offering the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team in a professional and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong transactional experience, excellent drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage real estate deals from initial letter of intent to closing.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, and related real estate documents. Conduct title and survey review, including preparing title objection letters and overseeing paralegal review. Manage real estate transactions from LOI to closing, coordinating with clients, lenders, and internal teams. Support overall deal strategy and ensure transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues to facilitate seamless transaction management.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school 5–8 years of recent real estate transactional experience Strong experience with PSAs, leases, title commitments, recorded documents, surveys, and closing documentation Licensed to practice in Tennessee and in good standing Excellent legal writing, drafting, and analytical skills Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and collaborative mindset Exceptional academic credentials
