A leading real estate investment firm is seeking a
Vice President of Asset Management
to oversee a diversified portfolio of commercial and residential assets. This is a senior leadership role responsible for maximizing asset performance, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering strong investment returns across the portfolio.
*This is a full-time in-office position based in the Woodlands with occasional travel*
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic business plans for each asset to optimize cash flow, value, and return on investment. Oversee third-party property managers and leasing teams to ensure operational excellence and financial performance. Conduct regular financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ownership and investors. Identify opportunities for value creation through capital improvements, repositioning strategies, or operational efficiencies. Manage property-level financing, refinancing, and disposition activities in collaboration with the acquisitions and capital markets teams. Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and risk factors impacting portfolio performance. Provide leadership and mentorship to asset management staff and coordinate closely with internal teams across development, accounting, and investor relations.
Qualifications: 8+ years of real estate asset management experience across multiple asset classes (multifamily experience required). Proven track record of maximizing portfolio performance and executing business plans. Strong financial acumen and proficiency in real estate valuation, budgeting, and reporting. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).
