A well-established commercial construction firm is looking to add an
Estimator
to its growing preconstruction team, based in the
Burlington, NJ area . This is a long-term opportunity with a company delivering a wide range of projects across
retail, warehouse, industrial, and tenant fit-out sectors , with values ranging from
$200K to $25M+ .
The Role You’ll be part of a collaborative preconstruction team, responsible for delivering accurate and competitive estimates from early-stage budgeting through to GMP.
Responsibilities Prepare conceptual, schematic, and GMP-level estimates Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope alignment Identify cost risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities Support buyout and preconstruction planning Work closely with project managers, field teams, and leadership
What They’re Looking For Experience estimating commercial construction projects Background in
retail, warehouse, light industrial, or site-heavy projects
preferred Strong understanding of trade scopes and subcontractor pricing Stable work history
(longevity is highly valued) Local to the Burlington, NJ area or able to commute daily Ability to
hit the ground running
