Position Summary
Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Superintendent/Foreman to lead large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical projects in the Central Florida region. This is a hands-on, field leadership role responsible for managing crews, driving productivity, and ensuring safe, high-quality execution across complex mechanical systems.
You’ll be leading from the front—coordinating teams, solving field challenges, and keeping critical infrastructure projects moving forward without missing a beat.

Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise mechanical field operations on commercial and industrial projects Oversee installation of heavy mechanical piping systems, central energy plants, and healthcare mechanical systems Manage and direct crews of 25+ field personnel Coordinate daily activities with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance Monitor project schedules, production goals, and labor productivity Conduct site walks, toolbox talks, and quality control inspections Resolve field issues to maintain project timelines
Required Qualifications & Experience 15+ years of mechanical construction experience Minimum 10 years in a superintendent or foreman-level role Proven experience managing crews of 25+ Strong background in commercial and industrial mechanical systems Experience with: Heavy mechanical piping Central energy plants Healthcare construction projects Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Project Details & Compensation Central Florida (primarily Orlando area) Commercial & industrial mechanical projects Long-term opportunity $80,000 – $95,000 (hourly position, overtime eligible) Company truck, phone, and additional perks provided
