Mechanical Systems Company LLC, a fully licensed Mechanical and Plumbing contractor based in Memphis, TN, focused on commercial and industrial projects, is seeking a candidate with the right mix of technical expertise and leadership skills to join our team.
We have an immediate need for a Sheet Metal Superintendent to join our construction team.
Primary Job Function The Sheet Metal Superintendent is responsible for leading and coordinating on‑site sheet metal construction activities. This role interprets project documentation, specifications, and building codes to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent leads crews, provides technical guidance, and ensures compliance with all safety and company policies while delivering successful project outcomes.
Work Hours 40+ hours per week, overtime as required
Pay Range $45 - $50 per hour, depending on experience

Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sheet metal or mechanical construction
Proven leadership experience supervising crews on job sites
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, blueprints, shop drawings, and building codes
Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and related tools/equipment
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and more as needed
Ability to work in physically demanding and variable job site conditions
