
Portfolio Operations Analyst

We are seeking a Portfolio Operations Analyst to support the ongoing coordination and oversight across a range of structures, including Mutual Funds, Hedge and Private Equity Funds, and Collective Funds across the U.S., Canada, Ireland (UCITS), and the UK.
This role supports day‑to‑day cash management, cash equitization, mutual fund trading and portfolio model management across the different structures. The position works closely with portfolio managers, operations, compliance, custodians, subadvisors, and brokers to manage cash, execute model updates, place underlying fund trades in fund of fund products, support futures and FX activity. In addition, the role compiles key regulatory and client due diligence reporting, and documentation of policies and procedures, while contributing to process improvements and supporting new products and platform initiatives as the investment platform evolves.

Monitor / implement periodic model rebalances
Cash Equitization
Manage day‑to‑day activities related to cash management, cash equitization and instructing sub‑advisor trading. This role includes coordinating with portfolio managers, sub‑advisors, custodians, fund accounting and brokers.
Coordinate across internal and external teams to move cash, invest in futures and instruct sub‑advisors to invest or raise cash. There is regular communication between the operational teams, portfolio managers, custodians, sub‑advisors and brokers.
Trade U.S. and International index futures and currency forwards
Coordinate Institutional Client conversions and de‑conversions
Assist with new sub‑advisor onboarding, ongoing support and sub‑advisor terminations.
Review and document policies and procedures for the functions performed by the team.
Assist in design and implementation of product development initiatives including investment product enhancements, operations and administrative service support, technology, etc.
Reporting & Oversight
Coordinate compliance and regulatory reporting
Coordinate client due diligence
Compile Internal Management Reporting
Policies, procedures and systems
Design and implement procedures related to new products
Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Maintain policy and procedure documentation for the functions performed by the team
What we need from you:
BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, STEM or the equivalent in work experience
Three to five years of financial services experience. Prefer investment accounting and trading. product development / management a plus
Strong understanding of investments including equity, fixed income, alternative asset classes and understanding of derivatives products, specifically equity futures and its application in equitizing cash
Strong understanding mutual fund operations
