Asset Management Specialist

Assist with daily repairs, upkeep, and general maintenance of facilities and company properties. Support the team in ensuring maintenance tasks are completed efficiently while helping care for company assets, including building interiors/exteriors and company vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Assist the team with building maintenance and operational activities across all company facilities

Conduct communication with contractors and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations

Support coordination of vendor services for maintenance items, activities, and tasks

Assist in maintaining site safety programs and ensuring safety policies are followed

Help monitor the functionality of building systems such as fire alarms, badge systems, and other equipment

Prepare basic maintenance reports and documentation as needed

Assist other departments with maintenance-related requests and tasks

Ensure maintenance procedures follow company policies and compliance requirements

Assist and connect with the correct vendor for maintenance of facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and ventilation

Support inventory tracking of spare parts, supplies, and maintenance materials within the department

Assist with maintaining the supply room and organizing inventory

Upkeep office systems such as phone systems and mail/shipping (e.g., FedEx, general mail)

Process invoices and documentation through internal systems (e.g., SAP, Approval reporting systems)

Perform general facility support tasks assigned by supervisors

Recommended Skill Set:

Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel and general office software)

Ability to perform basic hands-on maintenance and minor repairs

Judgment skills to identify issues and connect with the appropriate vendor in a timely manner

Work environment and other requirements:

The work environment is a non-smoking office environment.

Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting is required.

Role involves a mix of standing, walking, and office work (computer and phone use).
