Strategy Team Overview The Strategy team is a dedicated research unit specializing in macro and thematic analysis. We explore a broad range of topics, including global macro trends, demographic impacts, technological developments, and political, social, and geopolitical dynamics. In addition to producing research, we manage Global and Asia-Pacific portfolios to apply insights and measure performance, supporting strategic thinking across the business.
Role Summary In this role you will work closely with the Head of Global and Asia-Pacific and Global Equity Strategy to support research development and portfolio analysis. Initial responsibilities include updating and maintaining extensive data files, manipulating datasets, and contributing to research paper preparation. As you grow, you will write independent research notes and updates, building expertise and carving out a focus area within the team. This position offers the opportunity to develop deep analytical capabilities while contributing to high impact strategic research.
Salary and Compensation Salary range: $127,000 – $240,000 per year. The actual base salary may vary based upon relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
Candidate Qualifications
2–3 years of experience, ideally in investment banking, equity, macro or global market research
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Computer Science
Practical experience using FactSet, DataStream, CEIC, and Bloomberg
Strong Excel skills
Working knowledge of economics and finance, with an ability to analyze complex information and communicate insights clearly
