
Global Macro Strategist – Structural Themes (AI, Technology & Innovation)

We're working on behalf of a
leading global macro research firm
on a search for a senior researcher to help build and lead a new cross-asset research product focused on
major structural shifts shaping the global economy and markets .
The remit spans themes such as
AI and automation, the energy transition, next-generation infrastructure, biotech innovation, space infrastructure, quantum science, and next-generation computing , with a focus on how these forces translate into
macro outcomes and investment opportunities across asset classes .
The role The successful candidate will:
Develop
differentiated, forward-looking research
on structural themes and their implications for global growth, inflation, and policy
Translate complex technological and economic developments into
clear, actionable cross-asset investment ideas
across equities, fixed income, FX, and commodities
Build
frameworks and scenarios
linking long-term thematic change to nearer-term market pricing and positioning
Produce high-quality written research and thought leadership for an institutional client base
Work closely with senior strategists and economists to shape a distinctive and commercially relevant research product
This is a research-led role with a strong emphasis on
original thinking, synthesis, and communication . It is not a pure data science, engineering, or portfolio management position.
