E-commerce Content Specialist

Location: 4370 Malsbary Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242 Position Type: Full-time, In-Office About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated E-commerce Content Specialist to assist in managing and optimizing our e-commerce website. This position is perfect for someone who possesses strong writing skills, has an interest in digital marketing, and is passionate about creating an outstanding online shopping experience in the soccer sporting goods industry. Key Responsibilities Product Setup & Content Create, edit, and publish product listings, including titles, descriptions, specifications, and images Write compelling, accurate, and brand-aligned product descriptions Ensure all product details (sizing, materials, features) are clear and customer-friendly Maintain consistency in formatting, tone, and brand voice across the website SEO & Optimization Optimize product titles, meta titles, and meta descriptions using SEO best practices Conduct keyword research to improve search visibility and stay aligned with industry trends Identify and resolve duplicate content issues Enhance category pages with SEO-friendly, customer-focused content Support internal linking strategies between related products and categories Collaborate with the retail store teams to execute a cohesive merchandising strategy Assist with homepage updates, promotional banners, and seasonal campaigns Review the website for content errors, broken links, and outdated information Support product launches, including footwear, apparel, and special releases Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Knowledge of soccer brands and products is a plus Intermediate understanding of SEO principles Comfortable learning ecommerce platforms (e.g., Miva, Shopify) Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, or SEO What We’re Looking For A proactive self-starter who takes ownership of tasks A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment Someone passionate about e-commerce and creating seamless online experiences Soccer Village celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
