This role is based in Cleveland, OH and is a ground-floor role for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of real estate, business development, and market strategy. You'll be embedded in a five-person commercial real estate team, working directly alongside experience advisors on significant projects, client outreach, and market research. The expectation is simple: come in curious, develop fast, and earn expanded responsibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Outreach
- Execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, and strategic outreach to generate qualified meetings and new client leads
- Research and identify key decision-makers within target organizations — ownership groups, corporate occupiers, investors
- Maintain and continuously improve CRM data to support pipeline visibility and follow-through
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth company, industry, and market research to surface new business opportunities
- Analyze commercial real estate trends including leasing activity, sales comps, and local market conditions
- Translate research into concise briefings and presentation-ready materials for client meetings
Marketing & Client Support
- Develop and update marketing collateral — presentations, offering memorandums, and outreach materials
- Prepare pre-meeting research briefs and support senior team members in transaction execution
- Assist in pitching and proposals as you grow into the role
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, business development, or client-facing support — professional services background (consulting, staffing, financial services, legal, etc.) is a strong fit; commercial real estate experience is not required
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a clear email and hold a professional conversation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); CRM experience is a plus
- Self-starter who takes ownership and manages deadlines without being managed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred
PREFERRED TRAITS
- Comfortable initiating outbound conversations — you don't wait to be handed leads
- Detail-oriented with a high professional standard
- Coachable and genuinely open to feedback
- Interested in how deals get done, not just how they get supported
YOUR UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY
- Real deal exposure. You'll see transactions from prospecting through close — not just the parts assigned to you.
- Market fluency. Deep immersion in local CRE fundamentals: leasing, investment sales, tenant rep, and development.
- A BD skill set that travels. Research, outreach, CRM discipline, and market analysis are transferable across industries — but CRE is one of the best places to sharpen them.
- A clear growth path. Strong performers grow into senior BD or brokerage roles within the team.
COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives
