Abacus is looking to hire a Senior Account Executive.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our sales team. As a hunter, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, acquiring new clients, and expanding our customer base. This role requires a strong understanding of software sales, a proactive approach to identifying and closing deals, and the ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

o New Business Development: Identify, target, and close new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation strategies.

o Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on high-growth industries and emerging markets.

o Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, understanding their needs and aligning our software solutions to meet those needs.

o Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our software products, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

o Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and post-sale account management.

o Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

o Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize revenue potential.


Qualifications:

o Experience: 5+ years of successful experience in software sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

o Hunter Mentality: Strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities with a proactive, go-getter attitude.

o Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of the software sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, with experience in B2B sales.

o Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex software solutions clearly and persuasively.

o Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to close high-value deals.

o Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.


Preferred Skills:

o Experience selling SaaS or enterprise software solutions.

o Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot.

o Knowledge of industry-specific software applications.
