Recreation Leader
Looking for a rewarding job helping to serve the Ontario community? The City of Ontario's Recreation and Community Services Department has an excellent part-time opportunity for highly motivated individuals to provide programming at a city park, community center, or other recreational areas within the City. The Recreation Leader will be expected to provide customer service, offering information about programs and accepting registrations, as well as handling incoming calls. Other responsibilities for this position may include organizing and leading indoor and outdoor recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and games; setting up and taking down equipment for events and programs; cleaning and maintaining park and facility areas, including trash removal. The Recreation Leader is a part-time/temporary position, scheduled to work no more than 29 hours per week, and is not eligible to participate in the City's health insurance or retirement plans. Work schedule is determined by availability, operating hours and the incumbent's skill level in this position.
