Grads Photography is hiring: Graduation Photographer in Glendale

Job Details We are seeking photographers to take portrait photos during fast-paced graduation ceremonies this May. This is a temporary part-time position. Prior special event photography experience is a plus and a great personality is a must! Our company has many career opportunities so this job may be just the beginning. Our special event is May 21st; training will be provided before these dates. Times will vary by event. Graduation photographers are paid by the photo event; most events require a 4- to 10-hour commitment. You will be photographing graduates during graduation ceremonies. Be able to commute to our office in Glendale, AZ. All our events take place in Arizona; no out-of-state travel is required. We provide all equipment and training and there is no editing involved. The wage is hourly from $18 per hour and is based on the experience and proven abilities of the candidate. All photographic equipment is provided. Must be comfortable using a DSLR camera and strobe lights. Personal vehicle use will be occasionally necessary for some events, mileage reimbursement will be given for personal vehicle use in this case. Take high-quality portrait photographs consistently in accordance with company procedures and standards. Communicate with team members to ensure all duties and objectives are completed. Treat equipment with care. Professionally represent Grads Photography before, during, and after the ceremony. Qualifications Previous photography experience with strobe lights, preferably in a fast-paced setting. Candidates must be dependable. Time management skills and the ability to work event schedules agreed to in advance, including being on time and adhering to a schedule. Dress in business attire (black dress shirt/black blouse, black slacks, and black dress shoes) and present yourself professionally at all times. Be able to stand for long periods. Recommended Experience Special Event Photography: 1 year+ Strobe Light Experience: 1 year+ Customer Service: 1 year+ License/Certification Driver's License. (Preferred).
