About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Ecommerce to take on the executive ownership of its digital P&L, with a primary focus on driving profitable growth and expanding EBITDA across various online channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing a robust ecommerce engine, including a hybrid Amazon strategy and a direct-to-consumer model. This role demands a leader with a proven track record in ecommerce and marketplace management, particularly in the CPG, specialty food, or premium consumer goods space, and a deep understanding of P&L ownership, Amazon operations, and digital marketing.
Key responsibilities for the Head of Ecommerce include owning the digital channel P&L, driving forecast accuracy, and implementing financial guardrails for promotional and media strategies. The role also involves leading a team, establishing scalable reporting infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of ecommerce initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' of experience in the field, with a strong background in Amazon and DTC, and a proven ability to lead a high-performance team. They should be adept at digital media and growth marketing, with a focus on data-driven decision-making, and possess the leadership and management competencies necessary to thrive in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
