Senior Database Administrator / Engineer (MS SQL)
Location:
Richardson, TX (Onsite) with some remote Pay Rate: $62-70/hr
Role Overview Seeking a
Senior Database Engineer
with strong
MS SQL expertise
to support and optimize database systems in a
semiconductor manufacturing environment . The role involves
database design, performance tuning, reporting, and modernization of legacy systems
into data warehouse architecture.
Key Responsibilities (Shortened) Manage and support
MS SQL databases (on-prem & enterprise systems) Perform
database tuning, performance optimization & troubleshooting Develop
SSRS / Power BI reports & dashboards Migrate legacy systems to
data warehouse / data mart architecture Ensure
high availability, data security & 24/7 monitoring Work closely with
IT/OT & manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA) Handle
critical outages & real-time issue resolution Collaborate with stakeholders and
communicate solutions effectively
Must-Have Skills 5+ yrs
MS SQL + Database Tuning Strong in
SSMS, SSRS / Power BI Experience with
Data Modeling & Database Design Hands-on with
PowerShell & ServiceNow (or similar) Knowledge of
SDLC & data architecture Strong
communication & real-time problem-solving skills
