Job Overview
As a Server Assistant with Le Meridien St Louis Clayton, you will be responsible for table set‑up and clearance of dining tables, stocking all server stations, and assisting the service in the dining/event room in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner in accordance with the high standards of the hotel and brand.

Essential Job Functions
Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
Transport all dirty tableware from table to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
Participate in ensuring the dining room is clean & presentable to guests. This could include but not limited to sweeping/moping of floors and detail cleaning of outlets.
Assist Servers when requested
Conduct oneself in a professional manner with awareness that all actions/communications are within guest view
Respond immediately and graciously to guest service issues and report the situation to the appropriate Server or Manager
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Assist running food to dining room/pool deck
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to walk and stand for throughout an eight hour shift
Ability to move quietly and gracefully through a small area with trays
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently with or without a reasonable accommodation
