We’re hiring a
Senior Database Administrator
to support and optimize mission-critical database environments in a high-availability setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex performance challenges, working across teams, and ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. What You’ll Do
Manage and maintain production database environments to ensure performance, availability, and reliability Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning and system improvements Design and support database structures aligned with business needs Own backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes Lead database upgrades, patching, and ongoing improvements Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a fast-paced environment Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions Ensure data security and compliance standards are met What You Bring
5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in a production environment Strong experience with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL Proven experience with performance tuning and optimization Experience supporting high-availability (HA/DR) environments Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies Microsoft SQL certifications (MCP, MCITP, or MCTS) required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Nice to Have
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries Exposure to multiple database platforms (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks Why This Role
