Product Marketing Manager - Tech, Security and Identity PMM

Description Are you a tech‑savvy storyteller who can translate complex cloud solutions into compelling customer value? At AWS, we’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager who can shape the future of cloud threat detection and incident response. We need strategic thinkers who can connect the dots across our vast portfolio—from security operations to cloud‑native application protection. We’re looking for a unique blend of technologist and business strategist who can dive deep into technical architecture while crafting portfolio‑level value propositions that resonate with customers. You’ll partner with product and GTM teams to identify our ideal customers, understand their priorities and use cases, shape our portfolio of offerings to address those use cases, and develop messaging that helps customers understand how AWS can transform their business.

Key job responsibilities

Create and own positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to customers.

Lead product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles.

Develop technical content—including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures—that educate customers on AWS offerings.

Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions.

Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success.

Align with technical and business leaders on primary cloud and AI use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles; define best practice architecture and services for each use case.

Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop strategy documents and guide AWS feature prioritization.

Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback) to identify key customer personas, use cases, and product opportunities, and shape our strategy to help customers adopt AWS for their highest priority needs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology field.

Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Knowledge of and experience with cloud infrastructure technologies.

5+ years of direct experience working with customers on cloud technology adoption AND/OR 5+ years of direct experience working in cybersecurity, threat detection, security operations, or incident response.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.

Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.

Bachelor’s degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.

Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures.

Experience presenting to executive‑level audiences and industry analysts.
