Senior Interior Architect
GIAMPIERO TAGLIAFERRI, Los Angeles, CA, United States
Giampiero Tagliaferri is a boutique luxury residential design studio based in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, with a portfolio of high-profile estates across Los Angeles and Europe. We work at the intersection of high-concept architectural vision and rigorous technical execution, delivering bespoke interiors for a discerning private clientele.
We are hiring a Senior Interior Architect to join our team onsite at our Hyperion Avenue studio. This is a pivotal role for a designer who thrives on owning the full technical and design lifecycle of a project, from schematic design through final installation.
You will work directly with Principal Giampiero Tagliaferri and the leadership team on our most ambitious residential projects. We are looking for a trusted senior contributor who can carry projects independently, protect design intent through construction, and bring precision and initiative to everything they touch.
What You’ll Do
Design Leadership: Translate Principal direction into refined schematic designs and interior architectural detailing across luxury residential estates.
Technical Ownership: Own the full technical backbone of projects including furniture layouts, elevations, construction documents, and high-fidelity 3D renderings in Revit and AutoCAD. Ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables from design development through closeout.
Material and Finish Curation: Select and present bespoke architectural finishes, textiles, lighting, and custom furnishings aligned with design intent and project specifications.
Project Momentum: Produce project schedules, manage vendor quotes and proposals, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure compliance with design specifications across all active projects.
On-Site Excellence: Conduct site visits and supervise vendors and subcontractors to ensure custom elements are executed to studio standards.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in luxury residential architecture or high-end interior design, with a track record of carrying projects from schematic design through construction administration
Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM experience required
Strong interior architectural detailing and construction documentation skills
Experience with 3D rendering tools such as Enscape, Rhino, or equivalent
Proactive ownership mindset: you anticipate needs, push projects forward, and take initiative without waiting to be asked
Familiarity with Los Angeles vendors, contractors, and permitting processes is a strong plus
NCARB registration or California licensure is a plus but not required
Unlimited PTO with autonomy and trust to manage your time
Comprehensive medical and dental coverage
401(k) plan
A real seat at the table in a growing, prestigious boutique studio
Onsite at one of LA's most creative studio environments on Hyperion Avenue, Silver Lake
Compensation $80,000-$100,000 per year
This role is fully onsite, 5 days per week, in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Occasional travel may be required.
Additional Job Application Terms This job is part of LinkedIn’s Full-Service Hiring beta program. Eligibility is limited to candidates located in and performing services in the United States, excluding those based in Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, South Carolina, or West Virginia.
We’re committed to making our hiring process as smooth and timely as possible, and we understand that waiting to hear back can add to the anticipation. If you’re a potential fit, our team will reach out within two weeks to progress you to the next stage. If you don’t hear from us in that time, we encourage you to explore other opportunities with our team in the future, and we wish you the very best in your job search.
