Haddad GMC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our team in Adams, MA. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and service technicians seeking automotive parts, ensuring efficient and accurate service to support our busy dealership.
Responsibilities
Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating automotive parts.
Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges promptly and accurately.
Maintain inventory records and ensure stock levels are adequate.
Collaborate with service and sales departments to anticipate parts needs.
Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and product knowledge.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately with weekly pay processing.
Requirements
Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Proficiency with inventory management software is a plus.
