is seeking a

Senior HR Generalist

who is a hands‑on, experienced HR professional bringing sound judgment, strong employee relations and recruiting experience to a fast‑paced environment with a small, efficient HR team. This role is responsible for employee relations, targeted recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, leave administration including workers’ compensation and HR compliance.

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role works independently, partners closely with managers, and provides confident, practical HR guidance and support grounded in policy, experience, and employment law.

Spanish/English fluency is required.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary HR contact for employee relations issues, handling matters with discretion and consistency, leading workplace investigations and providing guidance on appropriate next steps

Provide steady, practical guidance to managers on day‑to‑day people issues; advise and support managers with corrective action, documentation, and disciplinary decision‑making

Proactively source and recruit qualified candidates for clinical and non‑clinical roles in Central and South Texas areas

Manage HR‑owned onboarding, including new hire paperwork, policy review, and employee setup

Administer employee leaves, including FMLA, ADA, and related leaves and worker’s compensation

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive, hands‑on HR Generalist experience which includes recruiting; healthcare environment preferred

Strong depth in employee relations and investigations with demonstrated ability to advise managers with confidence and credibility

Demonstrated experience with direct candidate sourcing and ownership of recruiting

Experience working in a lean HR team with broad responsibility

Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

Knowledge Federal and Texas employment laws

Salary range: $ 70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
