As a Finish Carpenter, you will work on detailed interior and exterior finish work across residential projects, handling high‑visibility carpentry elements that directly impact the overall quality of the home. This position requires strong finish skills, sound judgment in the field, and the ability to produce polished work with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
Install interior trim, baseboards, crown molding, casing, and other finish components to a high standard.
Hang and adjust doors, install hardware, and complete detailed punch and correction work.
Complete cabinetry installation, layout work, and other fine carpentry tasks with accuracy.
Assist with flooring installation, drywall repairs, and other finish‑related construction tasks as needed.
Read measurements carefully, maintain tight tolerances, and ensure clean, professional results.
Identify issues in the field and solve them without sacrificing finish quality.
Maintain production pace while protecting workmanship, schedules, and job site standards.
Work safely and effectively in active construction environments and varying site conditions.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of carpentry or related construction experience is required.
Strong finish carpentry skills with the ability to produce high‑end, detail‑oriented work.
Proven experience with trim installation, door hanging, cabinetry, and final‑phase carpentry tasks.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work in field conditions.
Strong eye for detail, solid judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable communication skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally for projects, with company‑paid lodging and per diem when applicable.
Must be able to pass a post‑offer drug screening, consistent with WV and federal law.
