Light Labs is hiring a Growth / GTM Engineer to build and operate the growth engine that brings transparency to the food system. Leading consumer brands like AG1, Momentous, and David Protein trust Light Labs to power their product transparency.

Growth at Light Labs is treated as a first-principles engineering problem. This role owns how we identify the right customers, engage them at the right moment, and scale distribution across inbound, outbound, and product-led surfaces.

This is not a traditional growth role. You are building the system that does the work.

You’ll take messy, manual GTM workflows and turn them into automated, reliable, and compounding systems. You’ll design and deploy AI-native infrastructure that runs continuously, improves over time, and directly drives pipeline and revenue.

The quality of what you build will show up immediately in sales performance, pipeline generation, and how fast the company scales.

You’ll work side-by-side with the founders in Austin and play a central role in how Light Labs scales from early traction to an enduring company.

Location: Austin, TX (in-office, 5 days/week)

Responsibilities 1) Make the sales team unstoppable Build the account intelligence layer that powers every sales motion. Define and maintain the account universe, enrich and deduplicate data, and prioritize accounts based on real buying signals. Incorporate product usage and engagement data so reps know exactly when to act. Map whitespace within accounts and operationalize land-and-expand plays. Own data quality end-to-end.

2) Turn GTM workflows into systems that run themselves Take core growth workflows like lead sourcing, enrichment, routing, and outreach and rebuild them as automated systems. Break them into components, apply AI where it creates real leverage, and design feedback loops so they improve over time. The goal is not to assist work, but to eliminate manual work.

3) Build and scale acquisition channels that create alpha Run high-tempo experimentation across acquisition channels. Move quickly from hypothesis to launch, measure outcomes rigorously, and iterate. Double down on what works, cut what doesn’t, and identify durable sources of pipeline before they become crowded or commoditized.

4) Own the AI-native GTM stack Design and operate the infrastructure that moves prospects from first touch to closed customer. Make disciplined build vs buy decisions. Apply AI across targeting, enrichment, routing, and outbound. Own attribution, lead flow, and qualification so the system is measurable, reliable, and fast.

5) Scale the Product Insight Panel Drive adoption of our Product Insight Panel, the customer-facing layer that turns lab results into a growth and trust driver. Expand distribution so more brands embed transparency directly into their product experience, and so Light Labs becomes the default standard for third-party testing.
