Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role located in Greater St. Louis for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics and flow of freight between shippers and carriers. Daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships, negotiating rates, booking and tracking shipments, and ensuring timely and effective transportation solutions to meet client needs.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences
Experience in Brokerage and Sales to negotiate, manage accounts, and build relationships
Ability to train and mentor team members as needed, fostering teamwork and professional growth
Knowledge of logistics, transportation, or related fields such as Real Estate is advantageous
Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multitasking skills
Solid verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage is an asset
