
Outside Sales – Commercial Waste Management

A rapidly growing, family-owned waste management company is seeking an experienced and driven Outside Sales – Commercial Waste Management representative to help expand their customer base and increase revenue for their roll-off and front-load waste services. This field-based sales role focuses on generating new business, building long-term relationships, and providing customized solutions to clients.
Outside Sales – Commercial Waste Management Responsibilities
Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and referrals
Meet with potential clients to assess needs and present customized waste management solutions
Manage and close deals for roll-off services and front-load dumpster contracts
Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects using shared tracking tools and provide detailed reporting on sales activities
Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
Build and maintain long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
Represent the company at networking events and trade shows to promote services and develop new opportunities
Identify upsell opportunities, including extra pickups, specialized containers, and seasonal waste services
Outside Sales – Commercial Waste Management Requirements
3+ years of B2B sales experience within the waste management industry
Proven success in hunting, lead generation, and closing new business
Strong understanding of roll-off and front-load waste services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting solutions in-person
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing a flexible schedule
Proficiency in CRM tools is huge plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred but not required
