The Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of farm operations, including crop production, livestock management, equipment maintenance, and staff coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in agriculture and be able to manage the farm efficiently while ensuring high‑quality output, sustainability, and profitability. Key Responsibilities

Crop and Livestock Management

Plan and oversee the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops. Manage the health and welfare of livestock (if applicable), including feeding, breeding, and health care. Ensure the use of sustainable farming practices to optimize production and minimize environmental impact. Monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and livestock conditions to make timely adjustments.

Staff Management

Supervise farm staff, including training, scheduling, and ensuring safe work practices. Conduct performance reviews and provide leadership and guidance to team members.

Farm Operations

Oversee farm machinery and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and operation. Maintain accurate records of farm activities, crop yields, and livestock inventories. Implement pest control and disease management programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of [X] years of experience in farm management or related agricultural roles. Strong knowledge of farming equipment, crop production, and livestock management. Ability to manage budgets, staff, and resources effectively.
