Senior Superintendent — Texas with travel or residing in select cities (Preferred: Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio)
Senior Superintendent
serves as the lead jobsite supervisor, responsible for overseeing field operations on large-scale commercial electrical construction projects. This role manages multiple crews and subordinate supervisors, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget alignment. A minimum of
10 years of electrical or industrial construction supervisory experience
is required. Texas residency REQUIRED
(Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, or San Antonio preferred, otherwise – travel is required).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and enforce
Client
safety standards, OSHA compliance, and site-specific requirements for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
Direct Superintendents and Foremen; ensure work is executed efficiently, safely, and according to plan.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, inspectors, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
Support project planning with Senior Project Manager/Division Manager, including scope review, scheduling, sequencing, and resource forecasting.
Monitor daily construction activities to ensure work aligns with schedule, budget, drawings, and specifications.
Oversee change order preparation, documentation, and execution.
Review RFIs, inspection reports, and quality issues; coordinate solutions and corrective actions.
Ensure materials, equipment, and subcontractor schedules support the construction sequence.
Maintain accurate as-built drawings, documentation, invoices, and job cost reporting support.
Motivate crews and maintain productivity, performance, and morale across the jobsite.

Skills & Requirements
10+ years of electrical/industrial construction supervisory experience
Ability to oversee crews, multitask, plan sequencing, and manage complex construction environments
Strong math, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontracts
Ability to travel and to navigate active construction sites, including ladders, uneven surfaces, and varying climates
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience with heavy infrastructure (water/wastewater plants, power plants, data centers, mission‑critical facilities) preferred
Physical Expectations
Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and reaching
Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs
Ability to visually interpret drawings and spatial relationships
