A leading software-focused private equity firm based in Atlanta is seeking a
Business Development Associate
to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with seasoned investors and operators in a high-performance, collaborative environment.
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for:
Identify and engage executives at software companies that align with the firm's investment strategy
Build and maintain relationships with market intermediaries and industry participants
Conduct market research and segment mapping to uncover new investment opportunities
Prospect using email, LinkedIn, phone, and other tools to qualify leads
Support add-on acquisition strategies for portfolio companies
Assist the investment team during diligence through expert interviews and market analysis
The Business Development Associate should have:
1-3 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, software sales, or business development
Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a strong sense of initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intellectually curious and detail-oriented
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools is a plus
Bachelor's degree required with strong academic and professional performance
