Responsibilities
Oversee the underwriting, valuation, and ongoing performance monitoring of a diversified real asset-backed debt portfolio, including the development of long‑term cash flow projections and downside scenarios.
Provide regular portfolio updates to senior stakeholders through structured reviews, tracking asset performance, risk exposure, and compliance with investment and loan parameters.
Prepare and present periodic asset‑level reviews that summarize loan structure, collateral performance, market conditions, and sponsor strength, with clear identification of key risks, mitigants, and emerging trends.
Coordinate cross‑functionally with internal teams across investments, legal, development, leasing, property operations, and portfolio management to incorporate relevant expertise into asset‑level analysis and decision‑making.
Deliver data‑driven recommendations related to leasing decisions, construction funding, capital rebalancing, asset dispositions, special servicing strategies, and real‑estate‑owned outcomes.
Serve as a senior point of contact for borrower and sponsor relationships, managing escalations and supporting the resolution of complex credit, structural, and operational matters.
Monitor and enforce compliance with loan covenants and structural tests, including cash flow thresholds, extension conditions, and other performance‑based requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or related
1-8 years of experience working at a real estate private equity or debt firm
Experience in loan asset management or underwriting preferred
