Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Roofing Estimator to join our team. This is a permanent position in the construction industry that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial roofing projects. This role is integral to our business operations and requires a professional who is detail‑oriented, analytical, and has a deep understanding of commercial roofing construction.

Responsibilities

Accurately estimating the cost of labor, materials, and time required for a variety of commercial roofing projects.

Conducting site visits and inspections to gather essential data for estimates.

Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.

Preparing and submitting detailed bid proposals to clients.

Negotiating contracts and cost adjustments with clients and stakeholders.

Collaborating with project managers, clients, and other construction professionals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve cost discrepancies.

Conducting risk management assessments to identify potential operational or financial risks associated with the project.

Maintaining and updating a database of historical cost data for use in future estimates.

Keeping up-to-date with the latest materials, methods, and industry trends to ensure the most cost-effective solutions are proposed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a focus on estimating.

Proficiency in Take Off or equivalent estimating software.

Strong knowledge of commercial roof construction, including materials, methods, tools, and technology.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
