New Role for Product Adoption & Value Measurement:
There is a need for a specialized role (one for each ART) focused on:
Driving adoption and behavioral change for new features.
Measuring the value and utilization of deployed solutions (e.g., tracking usage metrics and adoption rates).
Collecting user feedback and communicating it to product management for continuous improvement.
Collaborating with business operations to understand and address defects or issues.
Ensuring that, after product features are built and handed to operations, there is ongoing support to maximize value and utilization.
Role Characteristics:
Not focused on drafting new features or requirements, but on operationalizing existing features and ensuring they deliver expected value.
The role is expected to be temporary, needed for approximately the next 18 months.
It requires a product mindset but with a focus on post-launch success and feedback loops rather than feature development.
Rationale:
High volume of ongoing product development requires dedicated attention to adoption and value realization to ensure maximum benefit from new features.
Product managers are currently stretched thin, so these new roles will fill a critical gap.
