Responsibilities Overview

Create and implement a comprehensive grants strategy to support Quest, Inc’s priorities in Central Florida and Tampa

Prepare and submit grant applications, ensuring compliance with all funding guidelines and deadlines

Oversee a portfolio of approximately 50–70+ grants including corporate, foundation and government funders as primary sources of grant revenue

Collect and organize relevant data to be used for necessary grant tracking and reporting

Identify, research and cultivate potential donors who can support new and ongoing program initiatives

Work in partnership with grantors to maintain current grant funding.

Responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong, positive relationships with current and potential funders

Responsible for accurately interpreting and analyzing budgetary data to support the grants process

Oversee the budgeting, tracking, and reporting of grant funds

Monitor and evaluate program achievement against target goals, recommending modifications that respond to organizational goals

Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with grant requirements and recommend corrective actions, if necessary

Monitor and manage reports and documents associated with grant‑funded programs, ensuring internal compliance and satisfaction

Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends on occasion

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or nonprofit management with a master’s degree preferred or

7–10 years’ experience in a non‑profit organization working with grants can substitute for education

5+ years of experience in grant writing and grant management.

Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future

Preferred

Knowledge & experience with government grant programs such as Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and FDOT/LYNX 5310 Program

Knowledge in grant management software and tools (Instrumentl, iWave/Kindsight and Bloomerang)

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft office suite
