Job Description
Plans, and executes strategic initiatives that support university-wide strategic priorities to advance career design, experiential learning, and post‑graduation student success. (40%)
Serves as a point of contact for faculty and staff to support initiatives that aid student success, departmental goals, experiential learning, professional development engagements, and post‑graduation outcomes. Offers outreach presentations, workshops, office support hours, and other support; creates internal resources and delivers training to integrate initiatives into programs. Builds relationships across departments and maintains regular communication with portfolio partners and ecosystem members. (25%)
Tracks data and reporting related to job functions and engagement responsibilities. Maintains and exchanges quantitative and qualitative data for assessment, reporting, service participation, and impact demonstration. Creates reporting structures to highlight trends and support decision‑making. Manages vendor relationships for assigned technologies, ensuring proper implementation of system updates and data‑informed usage best practices. (20%)
Provides individual and group career coaching services to University of Florida undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from all majors and colleges; occasionally supports alumni. Facilitates career education workshops, classroom presentations, and tabling opportunities linked to the assigned initiative area. Engages campus partners to promote student success, readiness tools, and professional development programming. (10%)
Performs other administrative duties as assigned, attends departmental sessions, staff meetings, and supervision meetings to maintain clear communication. Supports department, portfolio, and division‑wide events, committees, and programs. (5%)
$60,000.00-62,000.00
Required Qualifications Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience in career development, career counseling, or HR.
Experience working with varied college student populations.
Knowledge of career services, campus marketing, and outreach strategies.
Skilled in computer applications, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
