VP Supply Chain, Strategy and Business Operations

As an innovative thought leader, the Vice President of Supply Chain Strategic and Business Operations reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer for MedStar Health and provides executive oversight for administrative and business operations across the system’s supply chain. This role partners closely with supply chain leadership, including sourcing, contracting, value analysis, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of systemwide initiatives. The Vice President also has direct responsibility for strategic sourcing, clinical sourcing, and purchasing functions across the MedStar Health system.

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in: Business, Healthcare, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Systems Engineering or Public Administration (required) 5-7 years demonstrated experience in a team/department leadership role (required) 8-10 years increasingly responsible experience in a large-scale distributed healthcare system, acute care hospital or healthcare management and/or related healthcare operations management or consulting (required) Experience leading large performance improvement initiatives (required) Demonstrated results and achievements in areas of experience (required) About MedStar Health MedStar Health is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for people in Maryland and the Washington, D.C., region, while advancing the practice of medicine through education, innovation, and research.
