
Social Content Producer

Edelman is seeking a **Social Content Producer** to join our New York-based team and work across our UGC offering called the Makerbench. You will report directly to our Social Executive Producer, who oversees DJE Studio and Originals, where the Makerbench program sits.
The **Social Content Producer** will work closely with Social Executive Producer, Account and Project Management teams to determine Makerbench needs. Once intake is assessed, you will work with the account team to build out project scopes, producer staffing plan, and timelines based on target live date, deliverables, and client reviews.The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of production and post-production processes for digital and social-first content. You will work closely with our business affairs team to ensure content is appropriate and cleared for commercial use, as well as staying on top of Creator contracts while assisting with negotiations. You will work closely with supporting Producers overseeing various Makerbench-led workstreams to ensure timelines are being met, and executions are running smoothly. The talent that will succeed in this role will be organized, solution-oriented, and able to roll with quick-turn requests. You should be comfortable negotiating rates and usage with Creators and Agents. While account and project managers will oversee and manage budgets, the Social Content Producer should think of themselves as a partner in ensuring a smooth execution and helps navigate and scope changes in real-time.
**Responsibilities:** Ongoing self-education on what’s new in social – staying up to date on current trends and social-first content updates in real timeContribute to process efficiencies as needed and continuously improving Makerbench experience**Day to day tasks can include:*** Develop and maintaining scopes, timelines and budgets* Coordinate and partner with Edelman’s integrated production network to ensure projects are staffed appropriately so that campaign launches are successful, and work is completed* Liaise with clients/agencies/suppliers to obtain schedules, briefs, assets, technical specifications* Responsible for partnering with the Business Affairs team to manage and plan talent contracts* Work with finance team to manage SOs, financial reporting, tracking, billing against all project budgets* Liaise with Production and talent for delivery of various projects* Daily management of client Makerbench, creator communication, delivery of content feedback and content turnarounds, efficient communication between accounts and creator, tracking progress of content and deliverables* Ongoing discovery of new creators and social-first talent* Support Social Executive Producer in talent discovery, quick turn project asks and ad-hoc creator requests**Basic Qualifications:*** At least 3 years of creator/influencer management, project management or production experience in an agency or production company.* A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Solid understanding of production and the creative development process, content production, creator negotiations, and digital best practices* A professional and approachable demeanor, and the ability to thrive in the dynamic highly matrixed agency environment* Ability to step into workstreams with limited knowledge and learn ways of working quickly, supporting urgent production needs on an as-needed basis* Experience working with account, pm and creative in an agency environment* Curious, eager to learn, excitement for creator landscape* Understanding of social media nuances, different platform best practices and passion for ongoing education* Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, online project management/collaboration/ticketing tools e.g. Sharepoint etc.$72,000 - $115,000 a year#LI-JLFIt started with one man’s passion to make an impact through stories...
