Summary Oversees and administers the functions of third party and government collections departments for hospital inpatient and outpatient patient accounts. Defines the strategy, goals, and objectives, and operational structure of the Collections department along with direction and coordination of all day-to-day operations of the collection areas. Manages the reporting of delays in payment and payment patterns and provides input for strategic decisions that affect direct areas of responsibility and possibly throughout the revenue cycle.
Education
Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
Experience
Seven years of related revenue cycle management experience including management.
