Transportation Sales Representative

We are a non-asset-based transportation and logistics provider operating across the contiguous United States and Canada. By leveraging a strong network of trusted carrier partners, we deliver flexible, cost-effective freight solutions with a primary focus on Truckload (TL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL). Our team specializes in matching shippers with reliable capacity, optimizing routes and backhauls, and managing shipments across a wide range of industries while maintaining a high standard of service, responsiveness, and execution.

We are seeking a full-time Transportation Sales Representative to join our team of competitive, highly motivated, intensely focused professionals who thrive on the adrenaline rush that comes with meeting deadlines, cold calling new accounts, juggling multiple clients and making well-informed decisions quickly, regardless of the circumstances. You must be hungry to learn and open to coaching as well as comfortable working around your teammates in an open space.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • 70100 calls per day
  • Closing new business opportunities
  • Respond to customer concerns and queries professionally
  • Contact current and potential customers as well as shippers and receivers for new business opportunities
  • Maintain a positive and productive relationship with our staff, customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects
  • Report to management weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually on KPI progress

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience telemarketing, or inside sales within an office environment
  • Strong telephone skills and written communication
  • Great work ethic, positive attitude, and a self-starter mentality are a must
  • Sales-minded and internally driven to succeed
  • Ability to handle rejection as a challenge and motivation multiplier
  • Ability to process information quickly and make decisions
  • Quick learner, logical thinker, coachable, and team-oriented
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook, and web browsers
