Overview
This Sales Representative position plays a critical role in driving growth across both of our closely integrated companies by identifying and securing new business opportunities in warehousing, fulfillment, and staffing. The individual in this role will be expected to actively cross sell services between our warehousing operations and staffing solutions, ensuring clients benefit from a comprehensive, value driven partnership.
In this role, success will come from the ability to identify profitable opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and align solutions that support both operational efficiency and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Cross sell between multiple companies.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories or markets.
- Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, client meetings, product demonstrations, and territory management to generate leads and close deals.
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling products or services, and ensuring client retention through effective account management.
- Utilize CRM software such as HubSpot to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue while maintaining positive relationships.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and territory planning.
Experience
- Experience selling warehousing and fulfillment required.
- Proven success in outside sales or B2B (business-to-business) sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and analysis to identify client needs and craft compelling solutions.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as HubSpot or similar tools for lead management and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability in territory management, lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales strategies.
- Background in retail sales or inside sales is advantageous but not required; a proactive attitude is essential.
- Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to conduct product demos and upsell effectively.
