We are seeking a skilled industrial powder coat painter to join our team for 3rd shift. This role involves hand painting parts in a spray booth for 6 hours per shift. The parts will be pre-loaded onto racks, which the painter will pull into the booth for painting. Painters will wear a specially designed paint suit with an air-conditioned helmet equipped with a light. Eventually, painters will be fitted for a respirator to ensure safety and comfort, although painting masks are typically sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Hand paint parts in a spray booth for 6 hours per shift.
• Manage pre-loaded racks and transport them into the booth for painting.
• Ensure quality and precision in painting each part.
• Wear and maintain a paint suit with an air-conditioned helmet.
• Adapt to using a respirator if necessary.

Essential Skills

• Experience with powder coating techniques.
• Proficiency in using a spray gun.
• Experience in industrial painting.
• Ability to perform paint preparation tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with industrial paint prep is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
