Customer Parts Order Processor

This position is responsible for processing customer parts orders, status requests, and miscellaneous requests via email, phone, and SAP. Absolute commitment to customer satisfaction through timely response to customer, attention to detail, and assurance of quality, on-time spare parts. Manage parts orders, quotations, status requests, returns, and other miscellaneous requests from customers. Investigate and develop resolution to problems that may occur with orders and shipments. Work in conjunction with other departments to develop cost-effective methods to reduce cycle times and ensure best in class service to our customers. When required, assist with the follow-ups on past due payments, collection activities, etc. Supervises overall activities of the department to produce products to established quality standards and processes. Use current data collection process to gather information for root cause analysis. Understands design concept and theory of operation of various product lines and variables that can be introduced by product variations, collation, and transfer systems. Coordinate final inspections. Analyzes assembly problems and determines course of action. Skills: microsoft office suite, SAP, Parts Inventory, Fulfillment, Order Entry, Data Entry, Customer Support Top Skills Details: microsoft office suite, SAP, Parts Inventory, Fulfillment, Order Entry, Data Entry, Customer Support Additional Skills & Qualifications: MS Suite is a non-negotiable. SAP experience would be a plus. Manufacturing background would be great, also open to retail sales. Associates degree preferred. Three years previous experience in related field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP experience a plus. Excellent oral and written communication; exceptional phone etiquette. Demonstrated problem solving skills, a must. Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and follow-up quickly. Ability to bring projects to closure. Exposure to SolidWorks, EPDM, ACAD, SAP, IES, and Microsoft Office preferred. Lean/Continuous Improvement experience preferred. Experience Level: Intermediate Level Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Davenport, IA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
