Business Analyst Standard II Duration: 5 Month - Long term Location: Washington, DC 20433
Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon.
Job Description Core Responsibilities Test Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute end-to-end test strategy for bot migration (functional, regression, integration, UAT) Define risk-based testing approach for high-impact automation processes Establish test governance, KPIs, and quality gates Ensure traceability matrices and validation documentation
Migration Testing & Validation
Validate bot behaviour after: Code refactoring Configuration updates (ECC → S/4HANA) Perform: Functional testing Integration testing with SAP S/4HANA Regression testing across impacted processes Verify: Data integrity Business rule consistency Exception handling scenarios
UAT & Business Sign-Off
Lead UAT planning and execution across ~30 business units Train and guide business users on structured testing and defect reporting Manage: Defect triage and prioritization Sign-off readiness criteria Ensure audit-ready validation documentation
Coordination & Project Management:
Coordinate across all IT and business teams including:
Central automation team Federated development teams (~20 developers) Business stakeholders (~30+ owners) Manage: Testing schedules across time zones Dependencies and release cycles Facilitate: Daily stand-ups, defect triage calls, and status reporting Track progress using DevOps/ADO TFS
Agile & DevOps Execution
Operate within SAFe Agile framework Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines Support: Sprint planning Backlog grooming Increment planning Drive shift-left testing practices
Quality, Risk & Compliance
Identify and mitigate migration risks Ensure adherence to: Enterprise QA standards Audit and compliance requirements Lead: Root cause analysis (RCA) Continuous improvement initiatives
Stakeholder Management
Engage with: Business owners IT leadership Transformation office Provide: Executive-level reporting Risk and readiness dashboards
Selection Criteria: Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum BS or MS degree with 10-12 years in QA/Test Leadership roles Proven experience in:
Large-scale system migration testing SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) environments Automation/RPA testing (Automation Anywhere preferred)
Strong experience in:
UAT coordination and business sign-off management Multi-team and offshore coordination
Hands-on expertise with:
Test management tools (Jira, ALM, etc.) API/integration testing
Experience working in:
SAFe Agile and DevOps environments
Willingness to work:
Hybrid (Washington DC area office attendance, minimum 3/4 days per week and onsite) Across time zones Occasional weekends / extended hours
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in regulated environments (GxP, compliance-heavy industries) Exposure to:
SAP integrations (SuccessFactors, BTP, etc.) Data migration validation and reconciliation
Background in:
Risk-based testing methodologies AI-driven or automation-led testing approaches
Certification:
BA/ Scrum Master / Agile certifications preferred as well as Automation Anywhere Essential or Advance certification is desired or related technical certificates on Business Analysis, QA, and automation platforms for UI Path or Blue Prism or Automation Anwhere or AWS Agentic Automation with certificates on AI and/or Cloud platform. Minimum BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, IT systems, business admin, business analysis, AI related subjects and courses
